Jules Maidoff (1933 – 2025) was an American painter who moved to Italy in 1973 to pursue a life of making art. He created hundreds of paintings, drawings, and etchings, many of which have been sold into private collections and museums.
Considered one of the great colorists of his generation, he was admired for his expressionistic realism and ability “to unleash the magic which charms our gaze and exorcises the negative forces which dwell around us.” (Art critic Mario de Micheli)
